EcoWeave Home
Our Story
How We Started
EcoWeave Home began with Ponpalat Vipattipumiprates' and Itthipat Saipornchai
unique blend of personal passions and experiences. Inspired by a love for crocheting, instilled by his grandmother, Ponpalat saw how crocheting could turn simple materials into something practical and meaningful. His involvement as a disciple at a temple also shaped EcoWeave’s direction, as he noticed the temple's plastic waste and the potential to repurpose it into something beneficial for the community. Combining his crochet skills with a mission to reduce plastic waste, Ponpalat envisioned a way to provide comfort to the homeless by crafting durable mats from recycled plastic.
This foundation of personal craftsmanship, spiritual influence, and environmental awareness helped EcoWeave Home evolve into an initiative that not only addresses plastic waste but also provides practical, insect-repellent sleeping mats for those in need.

EcoWeave Home operates with a dedicated core executive team of four members and a group of 20 volunteers. Together, they work to gather plastic waste from temples, design eco-friendly solutions, and craft high-quality crocheted sleeping mats for homeless individuals. This team structure enables EcoWeave Home to effectively manage operations, expand outreach, and maintain consistent quality, allowing them to make a meaningful impact on both environmental sustainability and social welfare.
